About me

I am a postdoc at department of Political Science at University, where I teach and research international political economy.

My research agenda involves the way economic ideas gain influence in the policy world, and how relations of power, networks and social forces are shaping the way we conceive of the economy. I have a range of published and forthcoming works in leading international journals and with first ranked publishing houses. I have won several awards for research excellence, including the Robert W. & Jessie Cox Award from the International Studies Association, and the Danish Government’s Eliteforsk grant. Besides my research career, I also have developed a strong presence in the public debate, with frequent contributions to a range of Danish and international newspapers and magazines.

I hold a MSc. in Economic history from London School of Economics, a Ph.d. in Political Science from University of Copenhagen, and a BA in History of Ideas and Sociology from Aarhus University. Before going down the academic road I worked as political advisor in the Danish Parliament.
